Being a history junkie, I like to know where things comes from. I’m always curious about the early days of lingerie, how companies got their start, and how they run today. Recently, I was looking into Jezebel and Felina and came across some interesting facts.

A bra house for many years, Rene of Hollywood made it’s debut as the Jezebel brand in the 1950’s.  In Paris, the deep plunge neckline had became the rage and women needed a bra to fit the style. Rene provided it with the introduction of the Jezebel “front hook, deep plunge” bra which was an instant hit.  Soon after many more styles were added to the collection and “Jezebel Lingerie” was created.

Although for a time in the 80’s and 90’s  they were lost through business dealings, by the beginning of this century they had merged with Felina lingerie and their rebirth began. Felina was a family owned lingerie manufacturer that had been in business for about ten years and was also headquartered in California.
